OEE Quality Report

OEE quality control

doeet automatically counts non-conforming units (scrap) through OEE quality control systems, scales, machine vision, or with operator action on the doeet HMI terminal.

The doeet quality report shows the actual quality control values of all production lines, their deviation from their target value and their evolution, the total number of units produced and the number of good and bad units.

The operator indicates from the HMI doeet terminal at the machine the number of nonconforming units and the reason for the nonconformity, eliminating the paper quality control records.

The optional quality control module also allows you to create, assign and obtain information on any quality control or checklist to be performed in the plant during the work shift. From the doeet HMI terminal, the operator records the results and controls performed, which can then be consulted from the quality reports of the OEE system.

OEE Quality System
  • Know in real time the quality of all your products for each production line or reference.
  • Analyze all quality control data to discover the reasons for the production of defective units (scrap).
  • Analyzes the indications of the operators on the number of non-conforming units and the reason that caused them.

With OEE quality control you will achieve your objectives.

Quality Control. Quality Chart by Line

The OEE doeet system automatically accounts for scrap produced on all production lines.

You can specify a target value for the quality control indicators. These targets are used as a reference to measure the deviation of a quality indicator from the expected value. doeet uses this information to make informative and visual indications on indicators that deviate from their targets.

doeet also records the actual and target quality values, hours and total units produced, and breaks down the number of good and bad units for each of the defined intervals.

Analyze your quality by line, shift, order or reference.

Quality Control by Reference

Knows the evolution of the actual quality of each production line collected by the MES system and the HMI terminal doeet in plant and compares these values with the quality control targets set in the system. The data displayed by doeet can be customized, filtering the information collected by lines, references, production orders, shifts, and even going deeper into the causes of defective units.

doeet also records the total units produced, the number of good and bad units and the running machine hours for each line.

Know why you manufacture non-conforming products (scrap)

Quality Control. Causes of Scrap

Know the quality control problems that cause scrap, the total number of bad units produced on each line and their breakdown by cause.

The causes of scrap are specific to each sector or company. This is why doeet allows you to define and group these causes in a customized way. To make it simple and quick for the operator to indicate the causes of non-conforming units.

doeet also automatically counts scrap using external verification and calibration systems such as checkweighers or machine vision systems.

What is OEE quality control?

Operator quality control

Quality control is the set of actions, procedures and tools implemented to detect and avoid the presence of errors in the manufactured products. To control the quality of a product, inspections or sample tests are carried out to verify that its characteristics are optimal. These inspections can be performed by the operator or by means of external devices such as checkweighers, scales, artificial vision systems, etc.

Quality control involves the detailed monitoring of all processes within a company in order to improve the quality of the marketed product. These controls involve the capture and analysis of large amounts of data, which the responsible departments analyze to initiate appropriate corrective actions.

Quality control failures involve the manufacture of defective units or scrap. These errors imply high costs to the company, due to the loss of operator and machine hours and energy, in addition to the waste of raw materials used, administrative costs due to delays in the delivery of orders and customer dissatisfaction.

The quality control plan

The quality control plan consists of the implementation in a company of programs, tools and techniques to achieve the improvement of the quality of products and services, in order to obtain an increase in productivity. This plan includes actions aimed at maximizing the quality of operations and, consequently, customer satisfaction.

First of all, we must obtain the necessary information about the quality standards demanded by the market, and then control each production process until the manufactured product is obtained. The main function of quality control is to ensure that products or services meet the minimum quality requirements demanded by the market.

The advantages of establishing quality control processes are:

  • It shows the order, importance and interrelation of the different processes of the company.
  • Operations are tracked in more detail.
  • Problems are detected earlier and corrected more easily.
