We have recently completed the implementation of doeet in the company Aceites Maeva, in Granada. Its Production Director, Jaime García, shared with us his assessment of the system and the advantages it implies for improving productivity or establishing an incentive plan.
Since we have been using doeet Production digitization software, we have seen our productivity increase.
We have been able to verify this increase by analyzing the data shown in their very complete reports.
The program is based on the OEE indicator, which in turn is composed of the 3 KPI’s: Availability, Performance and Quality.
In our case, in order to motivate personnel to use it and in turn increase the company’s overall efficiency, we opted to incentivize line managers with an economic variable.
Together with the Industrial Organization expert provided by Grupo IPYC, we established objectives to be met in each of the lines. The objectives set in our case were:
- Justification of 100% of the stops.
- A set of values for Availability, Performance and Quality.
- The 3 main reasons for stoppages were identified.
These objectives were followed up and as they were achieved, the people who participated in them were recognized.
With the passage of time we realized that we had hit the nail on the head, in a short time we were able to have our production process completely digitalized, we eliminated the paper parts and at a glance we could analyze our productivity from anywhere and at any time.
